INPD (Independent Niche Publishers Database): 

One our core beliefs at Neptune’s Nectar Publishing is that it is hard enough as is as a writer in our current economy and that the most powerful thing we can do as writers and small publishers is to aide each other as best as we can. Neptune’s Nectar Publishing is a niche publisher but we are not the only one, we have created INPD (Independent Niche Publishers Database) as a free resource to help young writers better locate the spaces they need for their works.

What we hope to create is a lack of dependance on the big publishing houses, as it is becoming harder and harder for young writers to find a home for their work. We hope to revolutionize the publishing industry by creating a community based collective space here with this database, where we pass over work amongst each other that doesn’t fit for us so it can still see the light of day even if its not in our publishing company personally. Moving forward we hope to be less in competition with each and more so in community amongst each other. If you are a niche publisher you can directly contact us at inquires@neptunesnectarpublishing.com to be added, removed or revised from our database. We only list niche publishers that directly take submissions or query letters without literary agent representation. We will list publishers with rolling submissions and with specific reading periods, if submitting your press please specify your submission guidelines and genre/interests.
